Arte y Joya (Madrid) The American Museum of Natural History in collaboration with The Field Museum of Chicago has organized an important exhibition entitled "Pearls" which will open next October. This exhibition will remain in New York for several months and later move to Chicago. In the limited group of pieces that will represent contemporary pearl jewelry, the organisers have selected a brooch designed and created by Ella Gafter. It is worthwhile to bear in mind that this North American designer received the special "Arte y Joya" prize in the Tahitian Pearl Trophy awarded in Paris last year.
