Arte y Joya
Ella Gafter. Beauty, essential value and brilliant craftsmanship.

Necklace, earrings and ring.
Subtlety, delicate beauty and an uncommon talent for placing gemstones in her jewels in order to assign a specific meaning to each of them. These are the qualitites that grace Ella Gafter's jewels, which led us to award her the special Arte y Joya prize at the first edition of the Tahitian Pearl Trophy.
Magnificent pearls, corals, diamonds, sapphires and emeralds are the language of choice for this Polish-born American designer, which she uses with poetic flair to express herself through jewels that are exquisitely sensitive.
We once wrote that Ella Gafter is a creative artist with a passion for the extreme: beauty extremes, essential values and masterful craftsmanship.
[This page includes] a presentation of her latest creations, which certainly do not contradict our previous judgement. On the contrary, her work is a confirmation of an aesthetic direction that remains true to her origins; throughout these collections we see indispensably modern touches, combined with the work's essentially classical direction.
She is currently in partnership with her daughter Talila, a Harvard-educated professional businesswoman, who has achieved a major expansion of the brand's international presence, while maintaining the company's permanent office in New York.
